COVID-19: NCDC reports 238 fresh cases

The Nigeria Centre for Disease Control, NCDC, has confirmed 238 more cases of coronavirus in the country.

The new recorded infections bring the total number of confirmed cases in Nigeria to 160,895.

The Nigerian health agency made the announcement on Monday night while giving an update on its official website.

According to the report, three persons died in the last 24 hours, bringing the total number of deaths so far to 2,016.

NCDC also announced the recovery and discharge of 154 patients in Lagos State and the Federal Capital Territory, Abuja.

So far, about 145,752 patients have been successfully treated and discharged from various isolation centres across the nation.
