COVID-19: Nigeria records lowest daily infections in five month, no death

Nigeria has recorded its lowest daily figure of new coronavirus infections in about six months with the 86 new cases reported on Sunday, according to the country’s health authorities.

This brings the total number of infections in the country to 161,737, according to the Nigeria Centre for Disease Control (NCDC).

According to the report, the agency also confirmed 29 community recoveries in Lagos State.

The new figures bring the total number of recorded infections so far to 161,737, with 2,030 deaths and 147,899 recoveries.

The tweet reads: “86 new cases of #COVID19Nigeria;
