The Plateau State Government also confirmed the delivery of 105, 600 doses of COVID-19 vaccines for the prevention of the spread of the virus in the state.
Commissioner of Health, Dr Nimkong Lar Ndam, who confirmed this on Tuesday evening, said the vaccines arrived from Abuja through Yakubu Gowon airport.
Ndam explained the vaccines have been moved to the cool room for safe keeping.
He explained the next step is to move them to cool stores in the 17 Local Government Areas.
According to him, the government would then work modalities on when vaccination exercise would commence.
