NCDC records death of five coronavirus patients, 394 new infections

The Nigeria Centre For Disease Control (NCDC) has reported five deaths due to coronavirus complications.

The health agency made this known via its Twitter account on Wednesday night, adding that 394 new infections of the virus were also recorded in the country.

According to the health agency, Bauchi recorded the highest number of new cases with 75 infections, Lagos followed closely with 36 cases while Akwa-Ibom and FCT reported 33 and 32 new cases respectively.

According to the tweet, states with new cases include: Bauchi-75, Lagos-36, Akwa Ibom-33, FCT-32, Nasarawa-29, Kaduna-26, Rivers-25, Ogun-22.

Others are: Oyo-21, Edo-20, Taraba-18, Imo-17, Ondo-17, Borno-8, Plateau-7, Zamfara-4, Osun-3 and Kano-1
