The active cases of COVID-19 have increased to 7,837 as the Nigeria Centre for Disease Control, NCDC, discharged 49 patients.
The health agency made the announcement on Tuesday night via a post on its verified Twitter page.
NCDC also confirmed 156 fresh cases of the virus in 10 states and the FCT.
The new cases bring the total number of recorded infections so far to 164,912.
No fewer than 2,063 persons have died due to complications from the disease while about 155,012 patients have been successfully treated and discharged.
