NCDC reports zero COVID-19-related death in 10 days

The Nigerian Center for Disease Control reported zero COVID-19-related death for the 10th consecutive days as the nation’s fatality toll remains 2,061.

The NCDC disclosed this on its official Twitter handle on Wednesday.

The health agency reports that the country last registered a COVID-19-related death on April 11.

The NCDC also confirmed 65 new cases of coronavirus (COVID-19) in 11 states.

The development brings the total number of active cases across the nation to 7,986.

So far, the country has recorded a total of 164,488 cases with 2,061 deaths, while about 154,441 patients have been successfully treated and discharged.
