The total active cases of coronavirus, COVID-19 being managed across the country has risen to 7,946.
This is following the confirmation of 55 fresh cases by the Nigeria Centre for Disease Control, NCDC.
NCDC made the announcement on Friday night while giving an update via its official Twitter page.
So far, the country has recorded a total of 165,110 cases with 2,063 deaths, while about 155,101 patients have recovered from the virus.
