The Nigeria Centre for Disease Control, NCDC, has confirmed 52 new cases of COVID-19 in six states and the Federal Capital Territory, Abuja.
This brings the total number of recorded cases so far to 165,273.
The public health agency made this known in a post on its verified Twitter page on Friday night.
NCDC also discharged 32 patients from its isolation Centre.
So far, the country has registered 155,403 recoveries while 2,065 patients have died.
