Self acclaimed Yoruba activist Sunday Adeyemo also known as Sunday Igboho has been arrested as reported by Sahara reporters.
Sunday Igboho was said to have been nabbed in Cotonou, Benin Republic on Monday night while perfecting his plan to escape through the neighbouring country and proceed to Germany where he is a permanent resident.
Sunday Igboho was reeported to have escaped from Nigeria but was nabbed by the Beninoise security agencies who have been on high alert from the Nigerian government.
Source privy to the situation said Sunday Igboho’s plan was to escape to Benin Republic and from there find his way to Germany where his family is based. Igboho is said to be awaiting extradition to Nigeria. Recalled the Department of State Security declared him wanted after raiding his house in Soka killing two of his aides.
