The 2022 Ekiti State Governorship Election is fast approaching and all the political parties have begun the search for the winning candidate. The APC and the PDP are the major political parties that are fully getting ready for the election.
According to the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) timetable, parties will organise and conduct primary elections to pick their candidates by January 2022. It is not a prophesy, but a fact that Dr John Kayode Fayemi will happily, democratically, culturally
and constitutionally hand over to his party’s candidate, to continue his excellent performance. “Yes, I mean it! Mark my words!”

Among all the parties that will participate in the 2022 Ekiti State Governorship Election, it is only the All Progressives Congress, APC that stands out to win the state anytime or anyday. The APC is rooted in the state. It has good records to show for its existence in the state since 1999. It is the only party that has respect for traditional institutions, academic environment, workers and citizens of Ekiti State. The APC stands tall and is the party to “BEAT”. - The Winning Candidate: APC as a party is blessed with men and women of high calibre, captains of industry, executive officers, professionals, medical experts and veteran journalists, that are fit to govern the state in 2022. But permit me to present to fellow party members across the state; “A man of honour and grassroot politician. A man with an excellent academic credential, a man with large heart and good character plus native intelligence. He’s bold and courageous. He’s a bridge builder. He’s good-looking and presentable. He’s hardworking and his street credibility is superb. He’s very fluent and eloquent. The yearning for now is for the candidate, who can make welfare of party members a priority, regardless of where he comes from.
He’s the most talked about politician, even among the cabinet members. This is because he is accessible to his colleagues and party members. He is also a person with good listening ear, who gives necessary support to party members across the state. He is very responsive (he never jokes with communication, as he picks his calls and respond to text messages). He does not discriminate (he is always checking on party members, who are yet to be compensated by the government).
His actions make people get elated and disabuse their minds of neglect. He always attributes his good gesture to his boss, that he is the one that asks him to do it for the people and not him, the SSG, which is epitome of loyalty.
Choosing him as the party flagbearer will make the job of his principal easier. (It won’t look like imposition because he is generally accepted by the party faithful).

I can tell you authoritatively that the good people of Ekiti State love the APC and they will surely transfer their love to the party candidate. Party leaders and members across the state love him. He’s a man of the people. Even opposition parties will vote for “Abiodun Oyebanji”, because they have seen his kindness. He’s the people’s choice, no doubt about it. Abiodun Oyebanji is the man that will continue the excellent performance of Dr. Kayode Fayemi. Though the shoe will be too big for him, but his political experience, educational background and the tutorial he has gotten from Otunba Niyi Adebayo and Dr John Kayode Fayemi will boost his immunity to wear the shoes of leadership.

God bless Ikogosi-Ekiti with the location where cold and hot water meet. It has been there for years and the ancient town will forever be grateful to the Almighty God, Dr Kayode Fayemi, Otunba Niyi Adebayo, APC and the good people of Ekiti State, If one of their true sons, Abiodun Oyebanji becomes the Ekiti State Governor in 2022.
With my personal investigation, the ancient town loves and appreciates what Abiodun Oyebanji has done for them in the past. One of the chiefs in the town confided in me that the community is looking for ways to show appreciations to Abiodun Oyebanji. He said and I quotes, “that our son has refused to be honoured many times by the King, HRM (Deacon) ABIODUN Elijah Olorunisola, the Onikogosi of Ikogosi-Ekiti, for his good gestures. He’s a silent achiever, who will fight you if you are trying to thank him for what he did for you. He’s our Oluomo. We love him so much”.
