Armed robbers on Tuesday afternoon robbed a commercial bank in Iragbiji, Osun state.
According to an eyewitness, the armed robbers stormed Wema Bank.
As at filing this reports, it was learnt that the armed robbers were still operating at the bank.
It was gathered that the robbers also attacked a police post near the bank, while the police divisional headquarters was also descended upon during the coordinated attacks.
They reportedly shot sporadically into the air to disperse passersby and others near the Bank.
Osun State Police Command spokesperson, SP Yemisi Opalola confirmed the incident.
She said that tactical team of the police has been deployed to confront the armed robbers.
