Bayelsa Gov Inspects Projects Ahead Of 2nd Year Anniversary

The Bayelsa State Governor Douye Diri says over twenty infrastructure and development projects have been set for commissioning to mark its second year anniversary next month, February 14th.

The Governor told journalists during a routine inspection of ongoing projects sites cutting across the state, just as the Governor gave assurance of meeting the targets.

Governor Douye Diri’s administration clocks two years in two weeks time.

The government is putting its house together to give Bayelsans memorable two years anniversary celebration.

The governor led a powerful delegation for routine inspection of ongoing projects across the state, particularly, those earmaked for commissioning.

Sites visited include, Yenagoa/Oporoma federal road, the Bayelsa media house built to accommodate all government owned media outfits, the New Glory-land drive.

Other places were, Igbogene/AIT ring road, Elebele bridge linking Bayelsa East Senatorial District, Igbedi road, Bayelsa transport terminal among others.

These projects when completed and commissioned, is hoped to open up the state, enhance its aesthetics and attract development to the state.
