The national working committee of opposition party in Nigeria the people democratic party PDP had adjusted the schedule of activities for the Ekiti gubernatorial primary ahead of the June 18 off-circle.
In a statement signed by the national organising secretary of the party, Umar Bature, under the adjusted timetable the ward Congress to elect A 3-man ad-hoc ward delegates earlier slated for Friday January 7 through Saturday January 8 had been moved to Saturday January 15, 2022.
Consequently the State Congress to elect a Governorship candidate will now hold on January 26, 2022.
