Gunmen suspected to be bandits on Saturday evening reportedly shot four persons to dead at a mining site in Dong Community, a suborb of Jos North local Government Area of, Plateau state, North Central Nigeria.
A community leader who does not want his name mention confirm to TIMENEWSNG that the suspected bandits stormed the mining site towards evening around 7pm while the Miners where about leaving and began shooting sporadically.
The Source revealed that, no fewer than four men were shot dead and a woman who survived a gunshot is receiving treatment in the hospital.
Spokes Person for the State Police Command ASP Gabriel Ubah while confirming the incident to TIMENEWSNG said the cammond has already deployed officers to the scene of the attack due to tension the incident has created within the Community
As at the time of the filing in this report in the early hours of Sunday, the dead bodies are being transported to the Mortuary while tension is still mounting in the community.
