Governor Abdullahi Ganduje of Kano state has promised to abide by the constitutional provision as the governor to assent to death sentence in the circumstance, when passed by Court, over the gruesome murder of 5 year pupil Hanifa Abubakar.
He made this known when he paid a condolence visit alongside his Deputy, Dr Nasuru Gawuna, Majority Leader, State House of Assembly, Labaran Abdu and other top government functionaries, at the family’s residence in Dakata/Kawaji, Monday evening.
On the speed of the proceeding, Governor Ganduje further encouraged that, there would be speedy dispensation of justice, adding that, “Government will take good care of the family of late child Hanifa of blessed memory.”
For the school affected by this tragedy, governor Ganduje revealed that, government would do something about the school.
