Joint Security Taskforce operations intercepts about five hundred rustled animals

Joint Security Taskforce operations in Niger State has intercepted more than five hundred rustled animals in Niger State.

The rustled animals were intercepted at different communities of Kuchi,Galadiman Logo,Alawa and Erena of Shiroro and Munya Local Government Areas of Niger State

The animals are more than three hundred cattle and about two hundred rams and sheep’s among others

The animals are under the custody of Ministry Of Livestock.

Commissioner For Local Government,Community Development and Internal Security Emmanuel Umar confirmed to Journalists in Minna that the interception of the animals is as a result of onslaughts winch resulted to neutralizing many terrorists.

Emmanuel Umar also notes that two security operatives recorded casualties

The Commissioner stressed that the State Government have concluded plans to inaugurate a Committee that will fashion out modalities of identifying real owners of the animals

He affirmed that provisions have been made to ensure that the animals are secured
