The Ohanaeze Ndigbo says it is high time Nigerians began to look beyond regions and elect candidates competent enough to unite the country.
Secretary General of Ohanaeze Ndigbo, Okechukwu Isiguzoro, gave the advice during an advocacy visit to the Arewa Consultative Forum in Kaduna to drum support for Igbo presidency in 2023.
Isiguzoro noted that the Ohanaeze Ndigbo believes in the Nigeria project hence its support for a united and indivisible Nigeria.
The Ohanaeze Ndigbo therefore appealed to the north to support the bid by the south east to produce the next president of Nigeria come the 2023.
