The North East All progressive Congress (APC) elected state Legislators have Advocated for the APC to Zone Its presidential flag bearer to North Central.
The state legislators along side other states Legislators from the North Central, Groups of Women made the plea during an extraordinary meeting held in Bauchi state North East Nigeria which was chaired by two Speakers of Bauchi, and Kogi states.
According them, this is because, the North will have ruled for Ten years at the end of president Buhari’s tenure, while the southern region has ruled for 14 years.
While responding to the forum’s decisions, the member representing Biliri south Constituency Rambi Ibrahim Mayala at the Gombe state house of Assembly, draw the attention of Nigerians to remove sentiment while choosing who will lead this country from the already existing challenges at hand.
At the end of their Meeting the forum urged president Muhammadu Buhari to be relentless in ensuring that he leaves Nigeria in 2023 a better place, and as well pass vote of confidence on the Governor of Yobe state Maimala Buni, the care taker Extraordinary Convention planing committee for its positive repositioning of the APC.
