Following the rescheduling of the All Progressives Congress Extraordinary Convention by the Caretaker and Extraordinary Convention Planning Committee, the Progressives Governors Forum met behind closed doors at the Kebbi State governor’s lodge on Monday night.
Chairman of the forum and Governor of Kebbi State, Atiku Bagudu after the meeting declined to comment on the Convention arrangements and new dates released by the Caretaker and Extraordinary Convention Planning Committee.
Bagudu told journalists that the forum will instead be meeting with President Muhammadu Buhari today to further deliberate on the national convention.
According to him, issues discussed by the forum at the meeting include the just concluded Federal Capital Territory Area Council elections, Osun state governorship election primaries among others.
