Ahead of the 2022 Governorship election in Osun Dr. Olasiji Olamiju have vowed to reclaim the federal constituency from PDP.
The Special Adviser to Osun State Governor on Public Health, said time has come for the people to take their destiny into their hands by re-electing Governor Adegboyega Oyetola for second term come July 2022 and by standing up for change in the federal constituency ahead of 2023 general election.
Olamiju said this while speaking with newsmen at the Strategic Engagement tour of Osun Governor, Adegboyega Oyetola, on Wednesday, held at Ijesa North federal constituency, Olamiju, a public health expert, said the reclaim Obokun/Oriade project has a God’s hand in it and promised that they would all join hands to execute it.
According to him “We are determined to re-elect Governor Oyetola again for another term through seeking the people’s mandate as we have been doing.
“July 2022 Governorship election is for the APC and I want all of us to be part of it. Governor Oyetola is a pacesetter, he has broken the barrier and obstacles that have hitherto militated against others from fulfilling in full measure their campaign promises. I am optimistic that God is with us in this project and with him nothing is impossible.
“Ijesa North federal constituency as of today is the stronghold of the PDP because members representing the constituency in the state and national assemblies are of the PDP but we are not resting on our oars.
“They (PDP) took the federal constituency away from us and we’re taking it back. We’re united and uniting every fragmented part of the party. We’re coming together as a strong family to making sure we chase away the opposition. That is our contribution to the retainership programme of Mr Governor.
“We’re all committed, ready and mending the fences and cracks within the party to making sure we come out stronger to deliver for APC and by extension Governor Adegboyega Oyetola’s second term ambition.
“Come July 2022 by the grace of God, Obokun/Oriade will win for Oyetola,” he concluded.
