Taraba State Youth Council has threatened legal action against the Director General of Muslim Right Concerns for allegedly inciting Muslims against Christians in the state.
Professor Ishaq Akintola, Director, Muslim Rights Concern (MURIC) in a statement on Wednesday, 9th of February, had accused governors Nyesom Wike of Rivers, Seyi Makinde of Oyo, Samuel Ortom of Benue and Darius Ishaku of Taraba States of being ”Muslim haters”
The Taraba Youth Council and the state chapter of Christian Association of Nigeria reacting to it described him as a liar who is trying to instigate religion crisis in the state ahead of 2023 general election as well sets the country ablaze with his utterances.
Address a press conference in Jalingo, both CAN leader and the Youth Council insisted that they will not allow external forces to destabilise the state.
They pass a vote of confidence on the Ishaku administration for carrying both Muslim and Christian along in the scheme of things.
