Delta state Governor Senator Ifeanyi Okowa commends Public servants in the State for their continued Loyalty, understanding and support to his administration since its inception.
Governor Okowa represented by his Deputy Deacon Kingsley Otuaro who made this commendation at the Unity Hall government House Asaba during the swearing in ceremony of the Chairman and Members of the Delta state House of Assembly Service Commission also charged public servants to show exemplary leadership by making honesty and dedication to duty their guiding principle in order to overcome the challenges plaguing the nation.
Addressing the Commission that had Cordelia Anyangwu as its Chairman, Governor Okowa said the composition is another step in his administration’s resolve to strengthen and reposition the administrative machinery of the State House of Assembly and other arms of government.
Governor Okowa charged the newly sworn in Chairman and members to see their appointment as a call to serve and opportunity to contribute to the growth and sustainable development of the State and its legislature.
The Chairman who responded on behalf of the appointees thanked Governor Okowa for finding them worthy to serve and promised to carry out their duty with diligent and loyalty so as to move the commission forward.
