… OJOKORO LCDA APC YOUTH LEADER, COMRADE ALAMUTU AWWAL CALLS FOR YOUTH INCLUSIVENESS IN LOCAL GOVERNANCE AND ELECTORAL PROCESSES
The Ojokoro Local Council Development Area Chairman, Honourable Hammed Idowu Tijani, has assured the youths of his readiness to support them as he charged them to go all out and mobilise for the party success in the forthcoming 2023 general elections.
Hon. Tijani gave this assurance when the APC LGA youth leader, Comrade Alamutu Awwal led other seven (7) wards youth leader on a courtesy call to the office of the council chairman on Tuesday, 16th August, 2022 at the Council Secretariat.
In his speech, HID appreciates the party youth leaders for their visit and adopted all issues raised for immediate implementation.
He promised the youth of his readiness to support their innovative ideas towards propelling the party to victory come 2023.
“The council will do all in her capacity in terms of moral and other support to carry the youth along for the success of All Progressives Congress in 2023 general election.”
The council boss opined that majority and if not all his cabinet and Councillors are youth, so as such the youths are already been carried along as he believes in living a lasting legacy bequeathed to the party by Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu.
Earlier, the APC youth leader, Comrade Alamutu stated that the council needs to do more for the general public as the closest tier of government.
“There are some areas the government needs to look into, most importantly social welfare of the public, financial grants, empowerment, capacity building, youth inclusiveness in capital projects sited with their domain, by compelling contractors handling projects to draw domestic workers from the CDA projects are being executed. This will make our mobilization drive more easier and give us massive victory come 2023,” Alamutu concluded.
