Osun State Governor Adeleke Ademola on Thursday said his administration inherited eight outstanding loan facilities with a total loan stock of N407.32 Billion as at 15th December 2022.
Governor Adeleke stated this during a meeting with the Council of Obas said the debt repayment ranges from 16 months to 28 years after receiving the Osun debt profile from the State Accountant General.
Governor Adeleke further said there is no room for distractions and his campaign promises will be kept.
He beseeched the kings present at the meeting to cooperate and work collaboratively with him
to ensure a successful administration.
Ooni of Ife, Oba Adeyeye Ogunwusi who chaired the meeting said there is no valid point pinning blames on the previous government, getting a way forward should be the utmost priority.
