The minister of Sports , Solomon Dalung and the Chairman of the Nigeria Football Federation , Amaju Pinnick have been urged to jettison their support for different candidates in the forthcoming Confederation of African Football Election.
A formal Coordinator of the Super Eagles, Danjuma Attah who stated this while featuring on Osun SWAN Monthly stakeholders forum said supporting different candidates in the election would do Nigeria no good.
Mr Attah stressed the need for a change in CAF leadership saying Nigeria has never benefited as it ought to, under almost 30 years leadership of Issa Ayyatou.
He expressed optimism that the super Eagles would qualify for Russia 2018 World Cup with the calibre of players on ground and necessary support of concerned stakeholders.
While calling for stability in the football administration in the country, Attah advocated building on the legacy of late Stephen Keshi through making local league the bedrock ofsuper Eagles.
On the movement of some Young Nigerians players to China league, Mr Attah enjoined those in the act to exercise caution saying China League is not as developed as that of Nigeria.
