At least one person has died in a road mishap which occurred Saturday evening in Wasinmi, along Ife/Ibadan expressway, Osun state.
The victim of the accident identified as the driver of the car which stumbled and landed on its back was said to have died immediately.
Commuters plying the road according to eye witnesses tried to rescue him, but was too late.
The driver was said to be heading towards Ibadan, before meeting his untimely death on the way.
Mourners and other road users were seeing weeping at the sight of the lifeless body of the driver on the road, while traffic gradually built up on the highway, leaving several stranded.
Officers of the federal road safety commission FRSC, have since arrived the scene of the accident with ambulance, with the aim of evacuating the body and ensuring free flow of vehicular movement.
