The assistant inspector General of police in charge of zone 11 AIG Agboola Oshodi-Glover has read riot act to the OSUN state police command in public relations.
The AIG on an official visitation to the command met with rank and file of the command in an interactive session tagged “Building The Trust”.

The commissioner of police Fimihan Adetoye in his welcome address reeled out the achievements of the command so far in terms of community policing, fight against crime and criminality and the challenges being faced by the command.
AIG Oshodi-Glover commends the Osun state police command for its efforts in stamping out criminality and in ensuring safety of lives and property. Glover however was quick to point out standard ethics which need to be strictly adhered to by the police in order to gain the trust and confidence of the people.
AIG Glover took the session through the extant laws guiding police which include maintenance of good public image and communication, warning that any erring police officer caught in any act of indiscipline will be personally liable for any offence committed.
Questions were raised on the welfare of officers and general conduct of officials, Agboola Oshodi-Glover says the force headquarters is doing everything possible to improve the welfare of its men.
