Collation of results from the ten local government areas under Osun west senatorial district in the by-election conducted on Saturday July 8 is in going.
The collations is being done under heavy security, with the state Commissioner of Police Fimihan Adeoye in Presence at the Baptist High School, Adeeke Iwo, venue of the exercise.
The Chief Returning Officer of the by-election is Professor Laide Lawal from the Federal University, Ado-ekiti.
So far, 7 local government areas results have been submitted and read out by the collating officers of all local government.
Results are still being awaited from Egbedore, Ayedaade and Isokan Local government areas of the district.
The Peoples Democratic Party PDP candidate in the poll, Otunba Ademola Adeleke is leading his major contender of the APC with an obvious wide margin.
