Ram sellers and other commodity traders in Osogbo, Osun state are lamenting low patronage of customers as Eid-el-kabir festival holds tomorrow.

This, is just as some customers decried high price of rams in various markets, while prices of some other products according to them remain the same.

Ram, is a significant symbol in the Muslim Festival of Eid-el-kabir popular called Ileya.

It is believed that every Islamic adherent who is capable and has come of age must slaughter a ram and share with those who are less privileged on the day Eid.

This explains why ram and other markets during the festival usually witness huge turn out of customers, but, the story seems different this year in osogbo,as ram sellers and other commodity traders in the Osun State capital say patronage is low less than 24hrs to the celebration.
