Nigeria records 1,303 new COVID-19 cases, more deaths

Nigeria, on Sunday, recorded one thousand, three hundred and three (1,303) new COVID-19 cases in the country.

The Nigeria Centre for Disease Control (NCDC) confirmed the figure in a tweet via its Twitter handle on Tuesday night.

Lagos, FCT, Nasarawa, Rivers, and Kwara top the list with 478, 211, 83, 72 and 42 cases, respectively.

According to the NCDC, Nigeria recorded fifteen additional deaths in the last 24 hours.

Nigeria has now recorded 124,299 COVID-19 cases and 1,522 deaths officially.

“Our discharges today include 542 community recoveries in Lagos State, 103 in Plateau State and 22 in Kwara state managed in line with guidelines.”
