The Oyo state Governor, Seyi Makinde has appointed members of the governing council of the Ladoke Akintola University of Technology (LAUTECH) Ogbomoso.
This was confirmed in a statement made available to newsmen on Friday.
The governor announced that he has appointed a former chairman of the Academic Staff Union of Universities (ASUU), University of Ibadan branch, Professor Ayodeji Omole, as the Pro-Chancellor of the University.
Also appointed are Professor Lanre Olaniyan, Mrs. Titilayomi Ahmadu, Hon. Adekunle Bankole and Mr. Adeosun Olukunle Idowu.
Makinde noted that the appointments of the five people were in line with his promise to put the Council in place to reflect the new ownership status of the University.
