The Nigeria Centre for Disease Control, NCDC, has confirmed 28 new cases of coronavirus (COVID-19) in five states and the Federal Capital Territory, Abuja.
The development brings the total number of active cases across the nation to 7,812.
The public health agency made this known on Thursday night via a post on its verified Facebook page.
So far, the country has recorded a total of 165,301 cases with 2,065 deaths, while about 155,424 patients have been successfully treated and discharged.
