300L UniJos Student Who Went Missing On New Year Eve, Found Dead

A female student of university of Jos who went missing on December 31, 2021, was found dead in one of the hotel rooms in Jos, the Plateau State capital, North Central Nigeria.

The deceased, a 300 Level Student of the Department of special Education and Rehabilitation Sciences at the University of Jos who was identified as Jennifer Anthony, was said to have told her parents in Abuja that she was coming for a job interview in Jos, but ended up in a hotel with a man.

In a viral video going round on social media, Jennifer was seen with a young man cruising in a car round Jos City.

The state Police Command while confirming the incident to AIT on Thursday through it’s spokesman ASP Gabriel Ubah, said the incident was reported to the command and on reaching the scene, it was discovered that Jennifer’s eyes and other parts of her body, were missing.

Ubah added, that investigation is currently ongoing and the command has made significant progress in trailing the suspects who committed the evil act.

According to the Police Spokesman, the Plateau State Commissioner of Police also held an emergency meeting with all hoteliers in Plateau State where he gave them security tips on how to man their hotels to avert the reoccurrence of such ugly incidents.

Though, the police has been silent on where this murder, and harvesting of body parts occurred, TIMENEWSNG investigations has revealed that the incident allegedly took place at on of the hotels located near the St. Morumba Catholic church, in Zaria road area of Jos.

As at the time of filling in this report, Authorities at the University of Jos are yet to make an official statement of the development, but Jennifer’s body has been deposited at the Plateau Specialist mortuary.
