Osun State Government has announced Monday 10th January as the resumption date for the commencement of second (2nd) term academic activities for students in the state
This was disclosed to journalists by the Special Adviser to the state Governor Gboyega Oyetola on Education, Hon. Jamiu Olawumi in Osogbo, the capital of Osun State .
Hon olawumi revealed that government has completed the renovation and upgrade of public schools across the state with top class facilities, adding that government has been paying attention to teachers’ welfare.
He explained that all newly employed teachers will take part in a five day training programme which will afford them the opportunity to learn teaching applications for Science, Technology, Engineering, Arts and Mathematics
According to Olawumi,school resumptions across the state will be on strict compliance to COVID19 protocol urging All Public and Private School Administrators to provide gadgets and equipment for safety measures.
Olawunmi also urges both Public and Private schools to duly observe COVID19 safety protocols by wearing nose masks/face shields, observe social distancing, regular hand washing, and frequent use of alcohol-based hand sanitizers.
