Hundreds of  Dignitaries stranded in Abuja airport

Following NiMET the bad weather prediction in the northern area, 500 passengers who are heading to Daura in Katsina state for the turbanning of the minister of transport Rotimi Ameachi are stranded at the Nnamdi Azikwe international airport, Abuja, owing to bad weather condition.

Most of the Dignitaries who are seen in a video clip hanging around the private jet wing at the Abuja airport told TIMENEWSNG that they have been delayed for the past 6 hours owing to the poor climate condition.

Others said is better to be late or have cancelled flights than to take the risk as the weather is now unnstable.

When asked if they are aware of the NiMET weather prediction, many said there were unaware of the development before setting out for the journey.

Those stranded including both serving and former federal lawmakers, top government officials among others were affected by the bad weather.
