The kidnapped Kaduna Catholic priest has Regained his freedom after 48 hours in captivity.
The abducted Catholic priest of St. Monica’s parish in Ikulu Fari, Kauru Local Government Area of Kaduna State has regained his freedom in the late hours of Tuesday after spending 48 hours with his Abductors.
This was contained in a statement signed by the Chancellor of the Catholic dioceses of Kafanchan Rev. Father Emmanuel Okoli.
It could be recalled that the abductors killed the cook of the priest and cater away 2 million naira cash release for Thanksgiving in the church on Sunday.
The diocese did not disclose whether a ransom was paid or not for the release of the cleric.
