The management of the Obafemi Awolowo University, ile-ife in Osun state has expressed sadness over the death of a two hundred level student of the institution, Ajibola Heritage Ayomikun who lost her life after falling into a septic tank at a private hostel.
The Public Relations Officer of the University, Abiodun Olanrewaju, who conveyed the university’s message said the University Management remained saddened by the unfortunate incident which happened at one of the private hostels in the Students Village in town.
Addressing newsmen, the PRO commiserated with the parents of the deceased and appealed to students of the institution to remain calm and be law abiding over the incident.
Until her demise, the deceased was a 200-Level student of the Department of Linguistics and African Languages.
