The Oluwo of Iwo Land, Oba Abdulrasheed Akanbi has thrown his weight behind the borrowings of the Osun state government led by Rauf Aregbesola.
The king made this known at the commissioning of Ataoja High School in Osogbo.
The monarch among other dignitaries delivering goodwill messages say with the construction of the school, Aregbesola has justified his borrowings over the cause of years.
As Ataoja High School is being commissioned, the same ones, in Ejigbo, Ede were also opened to students amidst fanfare.
The programme held at the other schools which have been commissioned earlier was tagged Students resumption ceremony even as the students are planning for their second term examinations.
While these mega schools are just situated in some towns around the state, the support gotten from these stakeholders may may take Osun’s loans to go higher as
borrowings of the state according to NEITI stands at over 165 Billion Naira.
