The coroner inquest looking into the death of Late Senator Isiaka Adeleke heard yesterday how the younger brother of the late senator, Deji Adeleke threatened the Chied Medical Diector of Ladoke Akintola University Teaching hospital over the autopsy report carried on the late senator.
The family of Senator Adeleke had distanced itself from the coroner sitting which it says its having a premeditated outcome.
The bone of contention however is the report of the autopsy carried on the late senator.
The Chief Medical Director of Lautech Teaching Hospital, Professor Wale Lasisi while giving his testimony at the coroner’s sitting relived how he received a call from Dr Deji Adeleke directing him to release all reports emanating from the autopsy to the family alone. Lasisi said Deji Adeleke further accused him of playing games in connivance with the state governor Rauf Aregbesola with a stern warning that “there will be a price to pay”
This came after Proffessor Lasisi made graphic details of the drugs administered on the late senator, asserting that they were served on him in excess alongside some other outlawed drugs like Analgin.
