Police Parade Father, Son For Alleged Robbery in Osun



Police in Osun state have paraded a 60 years old man Augustine Adepegba and his 28 years old son Augustine Friday for alleged armed robbery.


The father and son suspects, were arrested alongside a 19 years old Ojo Tifase for allegedly attacking 3 villages Omo-Ijesha, Ayetoro and Ore-Egba carting away valuable property.

Parading the suspects, the commissioner of police in the state, Fimihan Adeoye said the three suspects were arrested while another one by name Emmanuel James is at large.

Items recovered from the accused persons include 2 unregistered motorcycles, Single cut to size barrel, Damaged local made pistol, 40 empty she of AK47 Ammunition and 1 cutlass.

The command also paraded two other suspects, Jamiu. Saka (22yrs) Afeez Adeleke (25yrs)
for unlawful possession of firearms.

The suspects according to the police boss were arrested on July the 12th after an unregistered motorcycle was intercepted along Ilesha/Akure express road by the safer highway team.

Items recovered from them are 1 Dane gut cut to size loaded with gun powder and pallet.

All the suspects, the police assured would be charged to court at the conclusion of investigation.
